Proficiency Course

This is a course of 15 lessons a week. The students will learn phonetic, morphosintaxis and semantic aspects of the language. The students may follow this course at the same time as some of the Hispanic Studies Courses.

Hispanic Studies Courses

These courses consist of 10 lessons a week with a maximum of 5 students in each group. The student should have an intermediate level of Spanish in order to take such courses.

a) Culture and Society

This course should give the student a general idea of the different aspects of Spanish culture. The course is separated into various themes:

Monday: Art and History
Tuesday: Society A
Wednesday: Spanish Literature. Twentieth Century.
Thursday: Society B
Friday: Politics

The aim of this course is mainly to let the student know the Spanish Culture and Society instead of studying intensively only the topics. The student should be able to get to know the authentic social values separating them from absurd stereotypes.

b) Course on Spanish and Latin-American Literature. Commentary of texts

This Course deals exhaustively with the manifestations of the Spanish and Latin-American Literature throughout History. The student will work on texts of all periods and on the main plays and authors.

c) Course on Spanish and Latin-American Literature in the Twentieth Century. Commentary of texts

This course deals with the different literary trends in the twentieth century: narrative, poetry, theatre..., in Spanish language.
The students will know, analyze and enjoy the main contemporary authors by commenting on texts of their most important and most significant plays.

d) Spanish for Business

This consists of 10 lessons per week. We deal with commercial mailing, vocabulary, text analysis, position of Spain within the international market, commercial conversations, Spanish system of taxes and so on.

Mixed Training Course: Business

This course consists of 20 lessons per week on Spanish Language plus 10 lessons on Commercial, and Business Spanish.

Teacher Training Course for teachers of E.L.E.

This Course is designed for non native spanish speaking teachers. Consisting of three components: didactic formation, spanish culture, and the perfection of grammar and writing. The duration of the course is 2 weeks, and at the end the student will obtain an accredited certification.
