Spanish Course in Carnival

We have designed this course so that you can enjoy the most typical fiesta of Cadiz and at the same time learn or improve your Spanish. This is a unique opportunity to discover how one lives Carnival in Andalusia. The Carnaval Course lasts 2 weeks and consists of 4 lessons a day . Moreover, it includes the following activities:

Welcome drink
Guided tour of the most typical Carnival districts of Cadiz
Talk and film projection about the Carnival in Cadiz
Carnival workshop: learn how to sing some of the most typical songs of Carnival
Afternoon with "tablaos" – we will listen to some of the flamenco groups that sing in various flamenco clubs in Cadiz
Fancy dress party in Melkart with a special prize of one Private Class for the best dress
Detailed information for the students about all the Carnival activities available in the city: choral group contests, flamenco contests, fancy dress parties, choral group parades, cavalcade, fireworks, concerts, etc.

Spanish Course during the Holy Week (Semana Santa)

The course we would like to offer you is very special, since it takes place during one of the most traditional celebrations of our country. In addition to learn or improve your Spanish, you can experience first-hand this manifestation of Spanish culture. The Semana Santa Course lasts 2 weeks and consists of 5 lessons a day. Moreover, it includes the following activities:

Welcome drink
Guided tour of Cadiz
Talk and film projection about the Holy Week in Cadiz
"Procession" afternoon: we will see some of the processions that wind through the streets of Cadiz
Cuisine workshop: learn how to prepare "torrijas" (the typical pastry of this period)
Screening of "Nadie conoce a nadie" ("Nobody knows anybody") - thriller set in the Holy Week of Seville
Detailed information for the students about all the processions that go round the city

You can start this course on 26/03 or on 02/04 for the amazing price of €468 (course + accommodation in a shared flat, single room + the above-mentioned activities).
