"Organizing a study trip with Melkart has been a pleasure from day one. As the Head of Spanish of an English Boarding School, I was seduced by the idea of taking my students to Spain and to Cádiz in particular, where I was born and lived for 30 years of my life. Although I am obviously biased here, Cádiz is the perfect destination: a small-size city, far from the mass tourist resorts of Costa del Sol, with welcoming people and narrow streets full of history….the perfect combination!

Melkart certainly helped my dream come true: from the first time I contacted them about lessons, prices etc. I got nothing but their total support. Melkart organised a very interesting programme of studies, consisting of lessons at different levels in the mornings followed by cultural/leisure activities in the afternoons. Our students enjoyed this very much because it gave them the change of immerse themselves totally in the language and the culture. A selected group of families acted as hosts, and they did this job to perfection since they did not only provide bed and food but also love and companionship, something that the “Gaditanos” do very well indeed. Some even shed a tear or two as they waved our kids goodbye on the last day!
