Our aim is that the student learns our language at the same time as understanding the way of thinking and the culture, of our people. For this reason, we have prepared these activities consisting of visits to our districts, museums, libraries, monuments, film showings, lectures, discussions, meetings, parties, barbecues on the beach or in the country.

City Tour

Each Tuesday you can get to know all the spots of the city, learn some of it's history and enjoy visiting it's monuments (Torre Tavira, La Catedral).

Beach Volleyball

Take up the challenge and win one of our tournaments of beach volley!

Cooking Workshop

Learn how to prepare the typical food of Andalusian gastronomy: la tortilla española, gazpacho, ensaladilla rusa, …

Visit of the Bodegas of Jerez

Come with us to the "bodegas" in Jerez to hear about their history and taste it's known sherry. If you want to learn something more about the culture of wine and to sample a really good sherry, don't hesitate to join us.

Excursions and trips

Our school also offers the possibility of our students getting to know other places, by organizing the following excursions and trips:

Gibraltar

Visit Gibraltar, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Cádiz. Once we are there we will take a walk round the centre of the city and than we will ascend to the rock to visit the Great Siege tunnels and to see the famous apes.

Tarifa, Bolonia and Vejer de la Frontera

Visit with us the cradle of windsurf, Tarifa. Tarifa is the most southern city in the western Europe. We will walk along the beach of Bolonia, see the Romanic ruins of Bolonia and the impressive dunes that adorn miles and miles of beaches. After this we will visit a "Pueblo Blanco": Vejer de la Frontera.

Ronda

Visit Ronda, the pearl of "Pueblos Blancos" and it's monuments such as Plaza de Toros, which is the oldest in Spain. Ronda is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Cádiz.

Visit Parque de Doñana

Navigate the river Guadalquivir on the deck of Real Fernando and visit the national park where you can contemplate it's marvellous fauna and flora.

Surf Camp in Portugal

Spend one weekend with your mates in Portugal, practicing surf and enjoying miles and miles of sandy beaches and cliffs.

Flamenco Courses

All levels catered for, either in groups or private lessons. Compases, palos de baile, students will study all the typical elements of flamenco (abanico, mantón, castañuelas, sombrero cordobés).

• Beginner: for people who never did any courses before
• Intermediate: for people with a certain knowledge in dancing
• Advanced: for people that already know different types of dancing
